Description of the Assignment:
The position will support the customer in the implementation of a Project Management Office by supporting and contributing in the development and adoption of the PMO processes for program and project identification, prioritization, execution and reporting, as well as the management of the programs needed to drive the strategic objectives. The Program Manager will be assigned to support strategic programs with the expectation that the applicable program and project management best practices will be utilized. The position is also responsible for senior executive engagement and reporting on the state and performance of programs assigned and the supporting projects.
This implementation is a multi-phased approach that will unfold as the initial stages are implemented. The key deliverables of this initial stage include the implementation of the selected program and project management tools, templates, and systems defined by the customer, while assuming the program management role of assigned programs; the focus will continue to evolve into full project management.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s (Required)
- 10+ years of experience in program management of enterprise scope
- Skilled in project management software tools
- Knowledge in risk management methods
- Knowledge in benefit realization techniques

Demonstrated experience in managing “upward” among senior leadership

Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams

Demonstrated increasing leadership responsibilities

Consulting leadership experience a plus.
